SUMMARY:Paul Cooney Legal and Ethical Update Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This workshop meets the Ethics requirement for mental health professionals\, and will provide registrants with 6 CEU’s.  MHREN is pleased to present Paul A. Cooney\, J.D.\, a healthcare attorney who has been in practice for 23+ years. Mr. Cooney is managing partner at Cooney\, Cooney and Madigan\, LLC\, and he represents mental health professionals in malpractice cases\, licensing and discipline matters\, as well as general business matters. Mr. Cooney is general counsel for the Oregon Psychological Association. Attendance requires proof of vaccination\, and the workshop will be following all current guidelines regarding COVID-19\, including masking and social distancing.  Live streaming will be offered for those who cannot attend in person.
